Like most websites, we automatically collect certain information when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site. We use standard analytics tools and cookies to understand how our site is used and to improve it over time. See "Cookies and Analytics" below for more detail.
Information Collected During the Rental Application Process
If you apply to lease a home with us, our application and screening process may collect additional information, including your government-issued identification, employment and income information, rental history, and the results of an identity verification process (see "Biometric Information" below). This process may be handled in part through third-party leasing and screening platforms, under their own applicable privacy terms.

Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and to understand how visitors use our site, including which pages are viewed and how visitors found us. We use this information in aggregate to improve our website; we do not use it to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not permit our analytics tools to associate this data with advertising identifiers. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of our site may not function as intended if you do so.
Biometric Information
As part of verifying an applicant's identity during the rental application process, our screening process may ask you to submit a photo of your government-issued identification and a live photo or scan of your face, which is used to generate a match/no-match identity verification result. This process is conducted through a third-party identity verification service, which presents its own consent screen and privacy disclosures to you at the time of the scan.
We do not retain copies of the images or biometric data generated through this process on our own systems. Any retention of this data by our identity verification provider is governed by that provider's own retention practices and privacy policy, which will be made available to you at the time of verification.
If you are a resident of a state with specific biometric privacy laws, you may have additional rights regarding this information; please contact us using the information below with any questions.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to inquiries, process applications, manage active leases, and meet our legal, accounting, and business recordkeeping requirements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Your Privacy Rights and Choices
You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to request a correction, or to request deletion of information we are not otherwise required to retain for legal or business purposes. We will respond to verified requests consistent with applicable law.
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right, subject to certain exceptions, to request access to, deletion of, or correction of your personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no opt-out of sale/sharing is required.
